Meet the Team Behind the Seattle Chapter

Founder, CEO, Seattle Chapter Director
Anbini Ganesh
Anbini is currently a rising sophmore at the University of Michigan and is studying Business and Computer Science at the Ross School of Business. She is a writer, baker, photographer, and entrepreneur who has been awarded four regional Scholastic Awards for her writing and photography and has been published eight times in Lakeside’s Literary and Art Magazine, IMAGO. Additionally, Anbini is the published author of Unworthy (available on barnesandnoble.com), a poetry book written with the hope of providing insight into the minds of her generation. As the CEO and Founder of the national charitable organization, Love and Sweet Bakery, Anbini assists diverse communities through meal donations to homeless shelters, online sales, and fundraisers with the help of her multicultural, multireligious team. As she is passionate about raising awareness on issues of mental health, her organization conducts fundraisers that specifically donate to mental health-related organizations, such as Teen Link and NEDA. Love and Sweet Bakery has 13 chapters to date across the United States and is a 2023 Riley's Way Call For Kindness Grant Winner/Fellow.

Imelda Ramirez
Imelda Ramirez is a rising freshman at Swarthmore. Born in Seattle, Imelda has also lived in numerous places: Manila, Philippines; Queens, NYC; Worcester, MA. From making cookies with her mom as a toddler to now creating delicious treats for her family and friends on a regular basis, Imelda has always been an avid baker. In her free time, she loves to listen to true-crime podcasts, play soccer, and spend time with her loved ones. Imelda has learned so much about giving back to her community and has met amazing people through Love and Sweet Bakery and her participation in youth programs across the nation. Imelda plans on studying engineering and continuously being a positive changemaker in the communities she is a part of in the future.

Seattle Chapter: Executive Baker
Kira Morton
Kira is currently a rising freshman at Columbia. She is part of the Lakeside Crew team (will continue rowing at Columbia), and she also plays cello, which she has been doing for nearly 8 years. She loves baking in her free time so she's so glad that she has an opportunity to use her passion for a good cause.

Seattle Chapter: Marketing/Social Media Director
Shobha Blossey
Shobha is currently a rising sophmore at UCLA. She loves baking and is enthusiastic about utilizing that love for a good cause. She spends most of her time dancing and engaging with performing arts as a whole including singing and acting. She’s also passionate about service which inspired her to join this team and work towards something that can serve the greater community.
