Where It All Started: Seattle
Meet the Team Behind the Seattle Chapter

Founder, CEO, Seattle Chapter Director
Anbini Ganesh
Anbini is a 16-year-old junior at Lakeside School, Seattle. She is a writer, baker, photographer, and entrepreneur who has been awarded over 4 regional Scholastic Awards for her writing and photography and has been published over 7 times in Lakeside’s Literary and Art magazine, IMAGO. As the CEO and Founder of the national, registered nonprofit, Love and Sweet Bakery, Anbini assists diverse communities through meal donations to homeless shelters, online sales, and fundraisers with the help of her multicultural, multi-religious team. As she is passionate about raising awareness about mental health, her nonprofit has conducted many Mental Health Fundraisers that specifically donate to mental health-related organizations, and Anbini is a member of the Executive Board of the mental health education organization, Peer Responders. Anbini is also working on a poetry book that highlights the struggles of the current generation. Love and Sweet Bakery currently has 13 chapters and counting, all located in different areas of the United States. Anbini is also a competitive, year-round rower (recruiting profile: here) with Lakeside Crew, and hopes to pursue rowing in college. Furthermore, due to her athletic and culinary background, Anbini takes an interest in nutritional well-being, and writes monthly articles focused on nutritional science for the TEENHEALTH newsletter, an organization focused on the health, fitness, and well-being of teenagers. For the future, Anbini is interested in studying business, finance, and law, but wants to start by following her curiosity in business and social entrepreneurship.

Seattle Chapter: Co-Leader
Brooke Caldwell
Brooke Caldwell is one of Love and Sweet Bakery’s five club co-leaders. They are a senior in high school, and have been baking for as long as they can remember. Though her earliest creations were nothing more than concerning concoctions made from the scraps of what her mom was actually baking. Baking has been a constant love throughout their life, and they’d like to think they’ve come a long way since they were a toddler making “eggshell soup.” During her time in high school, she has gained experience selling custom cakes and other desserts, and won her school’s cake decorating competition sophomore year. Brooke is honored to provide baked goods to Seattle’s community as one of Love and Sweet bakery’s co-leaders.

Seattle Chapter: Executive Baker
Kira Morton
Kira is currently a sophmore at Lakeside school. She is part of the Lakeside crew team, and she also plays cello, which she has been doing for nearly 8 years. She loves baking in her free time so she's so glad that she has an opportunity to use her passion for a good cause.

Seattle Chapter: Marketing/Social Media Director
Shobha Blossey
Shobha is currently a junior at Lakeside School. She loves baking and is enthusiastic about utilizing that love for a good cause. She spends most of her time dancing and engaging with performing arts as a whole including singing and acting. She’s also passionate about service which inspired her to join this team and work towards something that can serve the greater community.

Seattle Chapter: Executive Baker
Imelda Ramirez
Imelda Ramirez has a six-year-old brother and a one-year-old sister. She has lived in numerous places around the world, such as the Philippines, New York City, and Massachusetts. When not in school or playing soccer, Imelda loves to bake. Her favorite baked goods to make are apple crisps, cookies, macarons, and savory pies. Imelda’s goals for this club as a member of the leadership team are to make delicious treats, help the community, and have fun!

Seattle Chapter: Secretary
Isabella Newcomer
Isabella is a senior at Lakeside School. She discovered her passion for food in 6th grade when her family started watching Food Network shows together (her favorites were Cutthroat Kitchen and Guy’s Grocery Games). Since then, she has continued to hone her cooking and baking skills, and when the opportunity was presented to be a part of Love and Sweet Bakery, she knew she HAD to join. What could be better than combining baking with service? She is now a lead secretary for the organization, and when it comes to baking, she'd say her specialty is making delicious vegan treats!

Seattle Chapter: Social Media Assistant Director
Gabi Guidero
Gabi Guidero is the social media assistant director of Love & Sweet Bakery. She helps run the Instagram pages for L&S, as well as helps out with our outreach. Outside of Love and Sweet, she's a high school junior at Lakeside School who loves to rock climb.
